Since its incorporation in 1981, Omega Point Institute has operated as a 501(c)(3) public charity. Its chosen method of operation has been to assist other commendable charitable organizations, and individuals performing charitable works, in a variety of ways including providing financial, logistical support, general management, and outreach for those charitable activities.

Over the past 40 years, the Omega Point Institute has funded over 100 charitable organizations and continues to look for ways to bring critical issues to the public’s attention in apolitical ways.
